Bloomsbury Flowers

Saturday, 9 November 2013
This year I had a bit of a last minute panic about what to get my mum for her birthday, I find both of my parents quite difficult to buy for so this year I went back to basics - flowers and afternoon tea, you just can't go wrong.

My office is based in Covent Garden which is conveniently close to the gorgeous flower shop Bloomsbury Flowers. I had never heard of this place until one of our lovely clients bought some in one day and they were literally the most gorgeous bunch of flowers I had ever seen.

With that memory in my head I had high hopes for this place and it definitely didn't let me down. They have every flower imaginable scattered all around their little shop which is actually surprisingly cutesey and slightly rustic despite being quite an upmarket flower shop. I just walked in on my lunch break and they made me a bouquet there and then.

I am by no means a flower connoisseur so I just let the Florist do her thing. The result was this beautiful bouquet of pinks, yellows and greens which all combined made for a very happy mum. First tick acomplished!

I am taking her for afternoon tea tomorrow so stay tuned.
