I have been working for my company Gleam for nearly a year now and in that time I have been fortunate enough to have some amazing and unqiue experiences but I think this one may have topped them all...
… I've been up and down the country on numerous shoots, been to incredible movie premieres and even managed to get about 3 feet away from my childhood (and current) hero Johnny Depp at one of them but nothing has been quite as special as our end of year Christmas party at Hogwarts. Yes Hogwarts!
Warner Brothers invited Team Gleam and the YouTubers and bloggers we represent to visit the studios earlier this year and we had such a fantastic time that when they offered us the chance to have our Christmas party in the great hall and be the first people to see Hogwarts in the snow how could we resist!?
The tour started with wand lesson 101…
Absolutely all the sets from the movies are here, from the Potions room, Hagrid's hut and Dumbledore's office.
A couple of my fellow Gleamers Katie and Lucy looking lovely.
What's probably most impressive though is the detail that went into bringing the movies to life. All the letters, labels, wands, maps, everything was made by hand just so the actors would feel like they really were in the magical world of Harry Potter.
We stepped outside for a butter beer, ride on the night bus and a Team Gleam portrait outside Privet Drive, naturally!
The bit we were all waiting for was the model of Hogwarts which had been transformed into a snow scene for the first time since the movies.
We rarely get the chance to have a photo with all of the amazing talent we look after as they are never all in the same place at once and although there are a few faces missing we couldn't resist snapping this group photo of everyone.
Once the tour was over we were taken back into the great hall for our very own Hogwarts style feast.
Before sitting down we were sorted in to our houses, as you can see I was very happy to be in Gryfindor.
Thank you Miss Lucy Loves for the pic, check out her Christmas party post here!
Some old friends the liquid chefs were there making their legendary lavender and lychee martini. Still my favourite drink of all time!
It was certainly a night I will never forget and feel very lucky to have been a part of it. We thought the quickest way home would be by flying car…
I couldn't recommend it more.

We were introduced to some of the animal actors who actually worked in the films, here is Hedwig RIP and Crookshanks who was trained to deliver us presents, sort of.
